Sampling-Frequency Synchronisation with Minimal Delay

In digital audio operations involving the interconnection of signal sources and destinations over long distances, there is likely to be the need to employ sampling-frequency synchronizers. A digital broadcasting center needs such synchronizers for use when receiving contribution signals from remote sources. For broadcasting applications, it is often important to minimize the delay introduced into the signal path, and a real-time audio computer is being used to study minimal-delay techniques for synchronizing digital audio signals.
