Effect of System Parameters on the Stereophonic Effect

Subjective listening tests, employing pre-recorded stereophonic program material have been conducted on the effects of parameters such as system matching, separation, and volume to determine their relationship to the psychological and physiological stereophonic effect. This paper documents these tests and summarizes their results.
