In literature one takes frequently recourse to unreproducible derivations for ascertaining the maximum acoustic gain attainable at the listener`s place. Thereby a necessary and a potential acoustic gains are adduced. In the following there will be illustrated the physical-technical background resulting from a mathematical derivation.
