A recently proposed simplification to the squarewave-sinewave dynamic intermodulation distortion test provides greater than 20dB improvement in sensitivity and is practical to implement in commercial automated distortion analyzers. Results using this technique are compared with the original spectrum analyzer technique along with other non-linear distortion measurement methods.
