AES E-Library

Flexible, Cost-Effective System for Recording, Playback and Processing of Analogue Signals on a Digital Computer

A cost-effective solution to the problem of recording and playing back analogue data to and from hard disk is described. The system is based around the IBM PC architecture and uses DOS file formats for portability between computers either on magnetic media or over network interfaces. The system is controlled from within the MathWorks Inc. Matlab environment which permits manipulation of the recorded signals using a comprehensive library of data processing algorithms.
