An Introduction to Stream Computer Architecture

A stream audio computer is a fully synchronous, coherently reconfigurable, modular multiprocessor specialized for multichannel real-time digital audio processing. Hundreds of audio streams and thousands of control streams may be handled simultaneously. Stream computers are now available for consumer and professional applications.
