The design and qualification of a small chamber for production of a high-accuracy near field monitor and accompanying electroacoustic test apparatus for repeatable reference measurements is described. Simulation of the chamber response is provided. The free-field and chamber responses of the monitor are compared and their differences are discussed for normalization to replicate free-field characteristics.
