To find out the time-frequency-distribution of headphone impulse responses, several methods have been examined which differ from each other concerning resolution and sort of presentation. The object of these examinations was to determine those parameters describing the resonances of the system. Thereby the precision depends on the ability of resolution of the chosen method. When measuring headphones, some special properties of the ear have been considered to find out the relation between the measured parameters and the subjective sound effect.
