Sound engineers and cameramen engaged in the recording of rock and pop concerts are stressed by high sound pressure levels which reduce their ability to communicate and also endangers their hearing. A method of active noise compensation developed in our laboratories up to series production could be helpful in such situations. The functioning and construction of headsets using such a noise compensation will be presented and explained.
