Failures experienced at EMC test houses may be costly both in terms of product modifications and revenue lost as a result of delayed sales. In order to reduce the probability of failure and to obtain the maximum value for money whilst at the test house, a certain amount of preparation is required.: This paper discusses some of the key points which should be considered by the equipment manufacturer when preparing for an EMC test.
