Performing arts centers provide a venue for performances ranging from symphony to theater and Broadway musicals to popular music. The trend in new performing arts centers is to provide state-of-the-art concert-quality systems with the flexibility to perform well for all users. Well-designed and installed fixed systems integrated with room acoustical designs tend to take the best advantage of architectural shaping and adjustable acoustics. Computer control provides a quick and reliable means of electronically reconfiguring sound and adjustable acoustics systems to meet the needs of various performances.
