This paper outlines a test procedure which can be used to quickly identify audio equipment-which may be susceptible to hum, buzz, and radio frequency interference-without having to remove the equipment from an installed system. The test procedure is simple and straightforward. The construction and use of test equipment, which can be easily built with readily available parts, is discussed.
