Musical Applications Derived from the FracWave Sound Synthesis Method

FracWave is applied to produce musical sounds with rich spectrum and dynamic types of sonic behavior. It is a purely synthetic and heuristic method. Non-linear maps control sound synthesis based on a set of parameters and on a graphic analysis of the phase-space representation. A computational implementation is presented in connection to graphic results and sound examples.
