Presented is a real-time DSP Waveguide Toolkit for physical modeling synthesis and signal processing. The Toolkit runs on the Reson8, a parallel DSP architecture using eight Motorola 56001 chips. Models of real and imaginary acoustic instruments and environments can be constructed and manipulated with real-time response. The Toolkit is designed for both model development and musical performance.
