Head-Related Transfer Functions: Measurements on 40 Human Subjects

The sound transmission from free field to the sound pressures at the eardrums is described by a model. A principal method to measure the head-related transfer functions is derived from the model. Transfer functions for both ears of 24 human subjects are measured by means of MLS-technique and are given in time and frequency domain.
