A digital audio storage system was developed in cooperation with the Norwegian Broadcasting (NRK). The combination of industry-standard data storage streamers with ISO-MPEG data compression is attractive for broadcast logging and archiving. A prototype is already installed at NRK. An open data format suits the system well for many applications in audio, broadcasting (DAB), TV (HD-MAC), and multimedia.
