New Aspects of Pop Measurement

A method is described to compare microphones with different frequency responses. The result is presented as an equivalent pop sound pressure level in a frequency range of 10 Hz to 1 kHz. Also, the effectiveness of silk and foam elements to reduce the pop effect are tested.
