A series of measurements of loudspeaker cabinet diffraction is presented and compared with calculated results. The measurements were carried out by means of the reciprocity principle in order to isolate the diffraction by the cabinet from other phenomena such as imperfections of the loudspeaker units. The calculations were made according to Vanderkooy.
