An investigation of several listening rooms has been completed. Acoustical characteristics of rooms (EDT, energy/time criteria, etc.) of different sizes and acoustical treatments have been analyzed by subjective questions of audio professionals using recorded speech and music. The most important acoustical attributes for listening rooms and home theater application are clarified and ranked in the survey. Data and results of the statistical analysis reports are described.
