This paper is a compilation of circuit design methods, formulas and rules for mixing any number of circuit branches into one main line. Bridges using resistors, pads, transformers, and combinations of these are described. The completely general mixing network is developed, and loss equations and input impedances are derived. The standard methods are shown to be special cases of the general network. A condensed summary sheet included with the paper combines the characteristics, formulas and illustrative loss tables for six different methods.
