Adaptive Loss Recovery and Adaptive Bit-Rate Scalability Using a Zerotree Audio Codec

This paper describes recent work on adaptive loss recovery using a zerotree audio codec, so that the overall quality of reconstruction is the best possible for the current loss rate, without any increase in bandwidth. It also covers the use of the codec for adaptive bit-rate scalability.
