To enhance the voice of a conference speaker or student in teleconference and teleteaching, a suitably adapted microphone system is required. This paper proposes a nested array with 13 microphones covering the 80 to 8000 Hz frequency range. Once the array was designed, a digital processing algorithm was constructed. Trials combining measurements in an anechoic chamber and non real-time processing validated the design and showed close agreement between forecasts and measurements.
