An algorithm using a time-frequency representation has been developed to modify the vibrato of a sound independently of the other features of that sound or of transformations such as time-scaling. The method consists of four signal processing steps which allows to extract of a vibrato curve and specific parameters of a source-resonance model and thereby gives an independent control on the vibrato for the resynthesis.
