The world of traditional production structures now has to face a rapidly changing business where not only the technology is moving quickly but also the process needs, the methods of delivery and the flexibility required from users. This has meant that existing traditional approaches to the provision of programme making have become restricting in what can be offered as well as expensive when compared with what can now be provided by the latest equipment. This paper describes some generalised models to develop production infrastructures on modern network technologies.
