This paper describes a solid-state mixing console developed to satisfy a wide range of research and development recording assignments. This versatile console features six microphone inputs for either of two studios, six line/utility inputs, two channel operation with graphic equalization and peak limiting for each channel, and an amplifier overload indicating system. Reliability, ease of operation, superior performance and accessibility for maintenance are primary design considerations in this solid-state mixing console.
