This paper presents an analysis of the operation of an eighth-order symmetrical bandpass system derived from a sixth-order device by adding at its input a low-pass passive filter. Two types of such a filter are considered. The second type makes it possible to find solutions for quasi maximally flat, maximally flat, and equal-ripple alignments.
