A new computer analysis system features high accessibility and immediate CRT display of sound signals converted into 10 bit quantities at 30,000 samples/second. The time behaviors of the harmonic amplitudes and phases and the fundamental frequencies are measured with predetermined accuracy by a -heterodyne-filter- analysis program. Design of digital filters for analysis of transients is discussed.
