The BBC is a public service broadcaster providing analog and digital broadcast services in the UK. The analog services comprise five national and several regional radio networks, a large number of local radio stations, and BBC World Service. The digital services carry the national radio and eight television networks including specialist networks such as parliamentary broadcasting, children’s broadcasts, and News 24.
