The 2024 AES Symposium on AI and the Musician will convene at Berklee College of Music, focusing on the intersection of Artificial Intelligence (AI) and music. The program will provide insights into the current developments in AI-enabled tools for music production and education. This will include a range of pertinent topics, including intellectual property issues in the AI era, the evolving creative economy, effective methods for introducing AI to non-technical users, and the ethical considerations in AI research and development that affect musicians and sound artists. This two-day event will feature a series of technical sessions, encompassing keynote speeches, panel discussions, presentations on submitted works, and technical demonstrations.
