An electrostatically driven foil diaphragm is loaded, acoustically by a horn, having the throat area 10 times smaller than that of the diaphragm. The resulting acoustical transformation enables to increase considerably the frequency range and radiated power. Cross-section of a patented arrangement, design data, dimensions and results are presented.
