For the last eighteen months, Jands Electronics in Sidney have been developing for the Rank Greater Union Theatre Organisation a totally automated system for the presentation of Motion Pictures in Theatres. The original equipment designed includes digital control of Audio attenuation, Audio switching, Lighting, projector control, light and shutter control, curtains and masking. The entire Theatre is controlled by 5 volt logic circuits controlled by the Mini-Computer or simple over-riding push button switches requiring only a single pulse to initiate a complete show.
