In the continuing search for better sound reproduction it is necessary to analyze the system performing this function, not only the individual final links of the chain; the amplifier and the loudspeaker. In order to see what improvements are possible and what limitations there are, one must determine the capabilities of the amplifier and the loudspeaker separately and also the effect of one upon the other.
