A method for direct estimation of physical parameters is presented. It employs a sensitivity approach for determination of the random parameter errors caused by noise as well as the systematic errors caused by incorrect model structure. The method is used for determination of loudspeaker driver parameters of nonlinear models, closed-box parameters, and parameters of a thermal loudspeaker model.
