Errors in MLS Measurements Caused by Time Variance in Acoustic Systems

In this paper the errors in MLS measurements caused by time-varying (TV) effects in rooms are studied. Impulse responses were measured in rooms at few minute intervals. The differenct signals between them displayed both random noise and TV induced effects. The latter possessed magnitudes that increased with frequency, and this corresponds to computer simulations of measurements on TV systems.
