Intelligent Audio-Fiber Transmission at the Centre for Arts and Media Technology in Karlsruhe

The number of studio technical installations at a modern audio and video studio and the requirement of media integration within a uniform network centrally and clearly organized are steadily growing. The number of required signal connections is growing accordingly. The technology for professional use currently available does not meet the requirements for real-time audio and data transmission for the presented project. Realizable alternatives become necessary.
