AES Announces 2024 Conference and Convention Lineup

“We expect the event lineup for 2024 to surpass recent years in terms of attendance as we continue to collaborate with professionals all over the world, always bringing groundbreaking content to our members,” said President-Elect Leslie Gaston-Bird.

[NEW YORK, NY – December 12, 2023] – The Audio Engineering Society (AES) has announced an expansive and diverse slate of 2024 events aimed at educating, connecting, and inspiring audio engineers, artists, scientists, and students worldwide.

2024 event highlights include the International Conference on Acoustics & Sound Reinforcement in Le Mans, France (January 23-26); the 6th International Conference on Audio for Games at the Senju Campus, Tokyo University of the Arts, Japan (April 27-29); and the 4th International Conference on Audio and Music Induced Hearing Disorders at Aalborg University Copenhagen Campus,  Denmark (May 29-31).

Dates for two AES conventions have also been announced. The AES EU 2024 International Convention will be held at the Polytechnic University of Madrid June 15-17, and AES NY 2024 will return to the Jacob Javits Convention Center on October 9-11.

Also on the 2024 event schedule are the 5th International Conference on Automotive Audio in Gothenburg, Sweden (June 26-28); the 8th International Conference on Audio Forensics in Denver, Colorado, USA (June 27-29); and the 5th International Conference on Audio for Virtual and Augmented Reality, taking place August 19-21 in Redmond, Washington, USA.

2023 marked the 75th anniversary of AES, which was celebrated October 25-27 at AES NY 2023, the Society’s 155th International Convention. AES rounded out 2023 with 10 in-person and dozens of online events, including conferences, conventions, and training and development academies, that hosted thousands of participants from across the globe.

“2023 was a monumental year for AES. Celebrating our 75th anniversary at AES NY 2023 with thousands of audio professionals and students in attendance exceeded all expectations,” said 2023 AES President Bruce Olson.

President-Elect Leslie Gaston-Bird echoes Olson’s enthusiasm. “Our goal now is to keep the momentum going with the excitement and engagement that we experienced in 2023,” she said. “We expect the event lineup for 2024 to surpass recent years in terms of attendance as we continue to collaborate with professionals all over the world, always bringing groundbreaking content to our members.”
